The Waitt Company has a substantial allocation to a public securities portfolio comprised of a variety of asset classes. The portfolio was constructed through a diversified asset allocation approach that is administered by an advisor and managed by a select group of proven managers. In determining the appropriate asset classes and capital allocation, we consider long-term trends, current market conditions, and other financial indicators. The impact of these factors, in concert with our goals for growth and capital preservation, drive our asset allocation process. To further enhance the performance of our diversified asset allocation approach, we carefully select and retain proven investment managers that actively manage investments in specific asset classes. The manager selection and retention processes within each asset class is managed by our advisor in concert with our investment committee and determined based on the size of the capital allocation, the longstanding track record of the investment manager within that asset class, and his or her consistent adherence to investing within the parameters that define the asset class.
